Bramham  is a yearly run 3* international horse trials based in Leeds, Yorkshire. With it being a short drive from my house I've been going for at least one day for a few years now.  This year due to shifts and money I decided just to go for the XC day and it was fantastic! I arrived about 9am with the intention to take lots of photos and I was doing a Tottie clothing snapchat takeover of the day , which I hope you all enjoyed! Unfortunately it was a very wet morning but nothing a new baseball hat couldn't fix! Im just glad i opted for two plaits instead of straight hair!

The trade stands are to die for! Being on a student budget, in the middle of when I get paid unfortunately it was a non shopping day for me! Typical as most of the show offers happened to be on the products i've been ogling over for weeks! Due to rain I couldn't snapchat the trade stands for you but I saw some lovely items that would match the Tottie range beautifully!

Onto the horses!

Before heading out to the cross country course with a coffee in hand I stayed half an hour to watch some show jumping in the main arena. The ground seemed to be holding up well but you could tell the horses were understandably a little wary of the footing.  After a few rounds I ventured out onto the XC course.

Originally I was going to walk the full course but opted for the shorter lazier route and just picked my favourite jumps to photograph. The cross country discipline has to be my favourite of the three . I love seeing how well the riders and horses tackle the challenging combinations!  I stayed for a few hours snapping away in the slightly brighter Yorkshire weather before returning to the arenas.

The main arena has the six bar competition and the smaller arena has mounted games. A tricky decision on which to choose . Personally couldn't miss the adorable ponies and the thrills and spills in the pony club mounted games.  The atmosphere is amazing, everyone gets involved and chooses a team to cheer on. The louder the cheers the faster the ponies run so its a good way to end the day on a high.  My chosen team, my old pony club came 3rd that day  which was lovely to see! Some fantastic riding, teamwork and ponies!

Unfortunately the signal and 4G on the park wasn't very good so in terms of the snapchat takeover little could be uploaded until I got home but I want to thank all I've you who asked lots of questions for me to answer and were very active throughout the day!

Overall for £25 admission (XC day only)  its a day which can't be missed. With lots going on and some lovely shops it was amazing to do something horsey on my day off!

I wore my gorgeous tottie maven fleece which kept me lovely and cosy despite the rainy weather!
