An award-winning design, the Fieldmasta 220g Mediumweight Combo Neck Turnout Rug features a unique dome neck, designed to help prevent mane loss, the darted fixed neck design takes pressure off the mane and helps to increase air circulation. Made from robust 1200 denier ripstop, waterproof and breathable outer fabric with taped seams. Mediumweight insulation of 220g of thermal fibre fill creates a mediumweight, lofty structure to keep your horse warm and comfortable, making this rug the ideal choice for ultimate protection during the cooler autumn/winter months.
Designed for comfort, the Fieldmasta is fully adjustable at the chest to fit perfectly to your horse, so is suitable for most breeds of horse or pony, both broad and narrow chested. Simply use the buckles to change the fit to your horses shape then fasten easily with quick clips. The large tri-vent shoulder gusset creates more freedom of movement at the shoulder and helps prevent rug rubs, this fits above the horse’s shoulder and articulates with the horse’s movement when out in the field. Featuring an anti-rub lining which also promotes a clean and shiny coat. Added memory foam sections at the wither helps to relieve and distribute pressure evenly keeping your horse comfortable. Adjustable pass-through surcingle’s at the belly prevent the rug from slipping or from being pulled tight behind the elbow. Detachable leg straps and tail flap with tail loop help to keep the rug in place and your horse fully protected from the elements.

HOW SHOULD I WASH MY MASTA TURNOUT RUG?
Assess if you really need to wash your rug? If you can brush off dirt and wipe off grease with hot soapy cloth from the lining, actually not washing your rug will be the best action to increase the lifespan of the waterproof material. As over time the waterproof treatment will deteriorate with every wash especially if washing instructions have not been followed (washing at too hot a temperature, washing with the wrong detergents, too aggressive cycle or washed together with other rugs are the main reasons for this)
You can choose to take your Turnout Rugs (and Stable Rugs) to a professional rug cleaning service that has the specialist equipment required and follow the instructions on the care label. Washing the rug individually at a cool temperature on a gentle cycle using non-biological soap.
However, if you do need to wash your rug we would suggest following the below steps to prolong the life of your rug and for it to perform at its best:
Hand wash your turnout rug:
What you need:
- Soft brush: a soft brush to remove dirt and hair
- Non-biological soap: use non-bio soap to wash your rug
- Bucket: for handwashing your rug
Steps:
- Remove excess dirt: remove as much excess dirt and hair from the rug as possible with a soft brush.
- Close or remove straps: close all straps and make sure velcro fastenings are covered/closed. If possible, we would suggest removing all straps or fastenings that are able to be removed prior to washing.
- Hand wash: hand wash at a cool temperature using non-biological soap. Washing in high temperatures will cause damage to the waterproof treatment on the fabric.
- Dry properly: make sure you dry the turnout rug naturally away from direct heat. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
- Reshape the rug: reshape the rug whilst damp. Check that any memory foam padding is lying flat before drying.
- Storage: once fully dried, store in a cool, dry place.
If you do choose to machine wash always use a machine that is large enough to comfortably hold the rug and cool wash on a gentle cycle. Rugs can be damaged if they are crammed into a washing machine.
Machine wash your turnout rug:
What you need:

- Protective wash bag (optional): help keep your washing machine hair free
- Non-biological soap: use non-bio soap to wash your rug
- Washing machine: wash your rug at a cool temperature
- Reproofing spray: for reproofing treatment to the outer fabric
Steps:
- Remove excess dirt: remove as much excess dirt and hair from the rug as possible with a soft brush.
- Add rug in protective wash bag: use a protective wash bag if you have one to help prevent snagging and to keep your washing machine hair free.
- Close or remove straps: close all straps and make sure velcro fastenings are covered/closed. If possible, we would suggest removing all straps or fastenings that are able to be removed prior to washing.
- Wash in washing machine: machine wash at a cool temperature using non-biological soap. Washing in high temperatures will cause damage to the fabrics.
- Wash on its own: wash your turnout rug individually to help prevent any damage to the rug.
- Dry properly: make sure you dry the turnout rug naturally away from direct heat. You can drip dry over a gate or fence. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
- Reshape the rug: reshape the rug whilst damp. Check that any memory foam padding is lying flat before drying.
- Apply reproofing spray: apply a spray on reproofing treatment to the outer fabric.
- Storage: once fully dried, store in a cool, dry place.

Harry Hall Returns Policy
We offer a free 30 day returns promise. This means from receipt of your parcel; you have 30 days to return your products to us for a refund.
Please ensure original tags are attached to your returned items and take care when trying items that could be easily spoiled. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.
Postage fees will not be refunded under the consumer rights act 2015. Returns from customers not a member of the One Club require the postage to be paid for - this will either be deducted from the refund if a returns label is selected or be covered by the customer.
Please note we do not arrange product exchanges and recommend that customers place a new order for any products or different sizes online after following the returns process below.
Orders cancelled after a successful payment may be subject to a £2.00 cancellation charge.
How to return your item(s):
For guest checkouts and non-members:
- Repackage your item using the bag it was delivered in where possible.
- Print and enclose your pick note or order confirmation.
- Enter your order number and email address at harryhall.com/returns
- Select the items to be returned, submit the reasons for return and whether to use our returns label or pay for your own.
- Follow the instructions in your return email confirmation to post your return. If you have chosen to pay for the postage to return the item make sure to obtain a proof or postage receipt.
For One Club members (free returns for Gold, Platinum and Bronze members):
- Enter your order number and email address at harryhall.com/returns
- Select the product to be returned and the return reason and submit the request.
- Your label containing a QR code will sent to you by email. You can either print the label and attach to the parcel yourself, or download and take the digital version of your label to the post office on your mobile device where they will scan the QR code and print for you.
- Repackage your item using the bag it was delivered in where possible.
- Take your package to your nearest Post Office. Remember to ask for a proof of return receipt.
Receiving refunds:
Once we receive your returned items, you should be refunded within 10 working days - please be aware this process can take up to 14 days during our peak periods. We will send you an email to confirm when the refund has been processed.
One Club Members will not be charged for the cost of return delivery - please note that non-members and guest checkouts will need to pay for the cost of delivering their return.
Faulty items:
All our stock is inspected to ensure it meets the incredibly high standards we have in place. Please accept our apologies if your item is faulty. You can request a refund using our online Returns Portal at harryhall.com/returns and selecting 'Faulty' as the reason for return. Please also upload images detailing the fault during this process.
Returning from outside the UK:
Please use the returns process form at harryhall.com/returns
You will need to cover the cost of your return's postage. We recommend you obtain proof of postage.
Who covers the cost of returning my items?
If you are a One Club member the cost of returning your items is free when you use our harryhall.com/returns.
If you require a refund and are not a One Club member you will need to pay for postage when returning the item.
Returning a horse rug:
If you have purchased a rug, when trying it on, please ensure your horse is clean and try it on with a thin sheet underneath. We are unable to accept returns that are dirty with mud, dust or horsehair due to hygiene reasons.
Returning a dog coat:
All dog coats to be eligible for a refund must be returned in their original condition; free from dog hair, not been washed or brushed. Please take extra care when trying the coat by making sure the dog is clean and using a towel or cloth to prevent hair and smells sticking to the coat. We are unable to accept returns that are dirty with mud, dust or hair due to hygiene reasons.
Bundles and Free Gift Returns:
- For a full refund, please ensure all items from the bundle deal or free gift promotion are returned. If discounted items are returned meaning that the original promotion conditions are no longer met, the cost of the discount or free gift will be charged to the order.
- Partial bundle returns will be refunded pro rata.
- Free gifts must be returned with their parent product, in order to receive a full refund, otherwise the parent product will be refunded minus the free gift value.
- Free gifts are not refundable on their own.
