What is Black Friday?

Black Friday began as a one-day sale in the US, the day after Thanksgiving, to mark the start of the festive shopping season.

When is Black Friday 2022 in the UK?

Traditionally Black Friday has taken on the last Friday of November, this year Black Friday is 25th November and lasts for 4 days, finish on Monday also known as Cyber Monday. (Which we'll explain later on)

As we head towards Christmas, the phenomenon of Black Friday is something that has become a key event in our diaries. Black Friday originates in the US, but is now a worldwide event that sees a range of products available at discounted prices. Black Friday deals tend to see great savings across our collections, which is particularly useful with Christmas fast approaching.

Black Friday 2022 is nearly here and, although there is still a while to go until the sales bonanza officially starts, now is the perfect time to start getting prepared.

Traditionally it has always been exclusively online, and especially so in 2020 due to the pandemic – the UK was mostly under lockdown, with non-essential shops remaining shut throughout November.

Cyber Monday is your last chance to bag a bargain before Christmas.

Cyber Monday is the Monday following the Black Friday weekend and falls on 28th November this year.
