I got these just in time for the cold weather, they kept my feet cosy and warm, the only negative I have to say is that they come up rather large, I am a size 5 and I could have got away with a 4, they fit perfect round the leg its just the foot that's too big. Had I have not needed them I would have sent back for a smaller size, which is odd as all my other shoes/wellies have been a 5.

How to clean your wellington boots:

Cleaning your wellies is easy and straightforward and doing so can help maintain their appearance and extend their lifespan. We recommend swilling the boots off under a tap or hose pipe after each wear to keep them mud free and in good condition. For more in depth instructions, here's a step-by-step guide on how to clean wellington boots:

What you need:

  1. Warm water: use lukewarm water to avoid damaging the wellington boot.
  2. Plastic bowl or bucket: the bucket will come in handy for rinsing out your cloth or sponge. 
  3. Soft cloth or brush: a soft cloth for wiping dirt from the boots.
  4. Sponge or soft towel: to rise and dry the boots. 

Steps:

  1. Remove excess dirt: remove any loose dirt, mud or debris from the wellies. You can do this by tapping the boots together or using a soft brush or cloth. 
  2. Wipe gently: dip the soft brush or cloth into the warm water and gently wipe the surface of the wellington boots. Be careful not to scrub to avoid causing damage to the rubber.
  3. Rinse thoroughly: after wiping the dirt and debris, rinse the boots thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water. 
  4. Dry properly: pat the boots dry with a soft towel or sponge. Do not use heat such as a hair dryer or radiator as excessive heat can damage the boots. Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. 
  5. Storage: store your wellies in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Keep upright and avoid folding or crumpling them as this can cause creases and damage the boot. 
     

Regularly cleaning and proper maintenance will help ensure that your wellington boots remain in excellent condition and continue to provide comfort and protection in various weather conditions.

How to store your wellington boots

We would recommend that you make sure you store your wellington boots in a dry warm place rather than cold barn or porch, as they will not dry out properly and will always feel a bit damp after being worn. If your feet and socks feel wet in wellington boots and there are no visible holes in the boots, its more than likely to be sweat, this is generally where the moisture from your body has cooled and condensates, giving the sensation of feeling damp to the touch.

How to dry out your wellington boots fully before storage:

  • If your Wellington boots have become damp or wet
  • Allow the boots to dry fully in a warm place (but do not apply direct heat or place near fire or radiator)
  • Pack the wellingtons with newspaper as this can help dry the lining
  • The newspaper will help soak up moisture, replace the newspaper when damp until the boots are dry
  • Feel inside the boots and check they feel fully dry to the touch.
  • Store upright in a dry warm environment

Harry Hall Returns Policy

We offer a free 30 day returns promise. This means from receipt of your parcel; you have 30 days to return your products to us for a refund.

Please ensure original tags are attached to your returned items and take care when trying items that could be easily spoiled. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

Postage fees will not be refunded under the consumer rights act 2015. Returns from customers not a member of the One Club require the postage to be paid for - this will either be deducted from the refund if a returns label is selected or be covered by the customer.

Please note we do not arrange product exchanges and recommend that customers place a new order for any products or different sizes online after following the returns process below.

Orders cancelled after a successful payment may be subject to a £2.00 cancellation charge.

How to return your item(s):

For guest checkouts and non-members:

  1. Repackage your item using the bag it was delivered in where possible.
  2. Print and enclose your pick note or order confirmation.
  3. Enter your order number and email address at harryhall.com/returns
  4. Select the items to be returned, submit the reasons for return and whether to use our returns label or pay for your own.
  5. Follow the instructions in your return email confirmation to post your return. If you have chosen to pay for the postage to return the item make sure to obtain a proof or postage receipt.

For One Club members (free returns for Gold, Platinum and Bronze members):

  1. Enter your order number and email address at harryhall.com/returns
  2. Select the product to be returned and the return reason and submit the request.
  3. Your label containing a QR code will sent to you by email. You can either print the label and attach to the parcel yourself, or download and take the digital version of your label to the post office on your mobile device where they will scan the QR code and print for you.
  4. Repackage your item using the bag it was delivered in where possible.
  5. Take your package to your nearest Post Office. Remember to ask for a proof of return receipt.

 

Receiving refunds:

Once we receive your returned items, you should be refunded within 10 working days - please be aware this process can take up to 14 days during our peak periods. We will send you an email to confirm when the refund has been processed.

One Club Members will not be charged for the cost of return delivery - please note that non-members and guest checkouts will need to pay for the cost of delivering their return.

Faulty items:

All our stock is inspected to ensure it meets the incredibly high standards we have in place. Please accept our apologies if your item is faulty. You can request a refund using our online Returns Portal at harryhall.com/returns and selecting 'Faulty' as the reason for return. Please also upload images detailing the fault during this process.

Returning from outside the UK:

Please use the returns process form at harryhall.com/returns

You will need to cover the cost of your return's postage. We recommend you obtain proof of postage.

Who covers the cost of returning my items?

If you are a One Club member the cost of returning your items is free when you use our harryhall.com/returns.

If you require a refund and are not a One Club member you will need to pay for postage when returning the item.

Returning a horse rug:

If you have purchased a rug, when trying it on, please ensure your horse is clean and try it on with a thin sheet underneath. We are unable to accept returns that are dirty with mud, dust or horsehair due to hygiene reasons.

Returning a dog coat:

All dog coats to be eligible for a refund must be returned in their original condition; free from dog hair, not been washed or brushed. Please take extra care when trying the coat by making sure the dog is clean and using a towel or cloth to prevent hair and smells sticking to the coat. We are unable to accept returns that are dirty with mud, dust or hair due to hygiene reasons.

Bundles and Free Gift Returns:

  • For a full refund, please ensure all items from the bundle deal or free gift promotion are returned. If discounted items are returned meaning that the original promotion conditions are no longer met, the cost of the discount or free gift will be charged to the order.
  • Partial bundle returns will be refunded pro rata.
  • Free gifts must be returned with their parent product, in order to receive a full refund, otherwise the parent product will be refunded minus the free gift value.
  • Free gifts are not refundable on their own.
