Do you have what it takes to be a Harry Hall Ambassador? At Harry Hall, we love our community. That’s why each year we select a team of Brand Ambassadors that represent our brand and the everyday equestrian, from the matchy-matchy mad to the anything goes equine enthusiast!

Our Brand Ambassadors embody the Harry Hall Brand by creating fun social media content in return for a whole package of incentives and rewards. But this year we’re changing things up, we’re launching a national search campaign to find more ambassadors than ever before, that are passionate about all things equestrian, represent Harry Hall and our Sister Brands and totally #LoveHarryHall!

Back in 2019, Amateur Event Rider and ShowJumper, Tamsin Drew, did just that! Tamsin and her extra special Mare, Isn’t it Special (Kate) applied to become Harry Hall brand ambassadors, fast forward three years, Tamsin and Kate are still very much an integral part of our ambassador team from guest writing blogs to testing our latest products and reviewing them on social media.

We caught up with Tamsin to hear about why she applied to become a HH Ambassador, what else is in store this season for her and her superstar eventer Kate and all things #LoveHarryHall.

How did you first get involved with the Harry Hall ambassador programme and can you tell us what the most rewarding part has been so far?

"I successfully applied for the Harry Hall ambassador programme in 2019 and have been part of the team ever since. The most rewarding part of the programme is being involved with such a successful supportive company, being recognised as part of the brand wherever I am, developing a network and many friendships within the Harry Hall team, via other ambassadors and those who love Harry Hall. It’s like one big supportive family."

At Harry Hall we’re proud of the community we have created and the ambassadors that help make it such a friendly and relatable space, how has the Harry Hall Community supported yours and Kate's journey?

"Harry Hall One Club Facebook Group is excellent for not only sharing images of your purchases but also supporting one another within our daily lives. I love all the support we give to each other in this group even if it’s sharing photos from the yard, a local hack, a show or a championship class.

I have had so much support from Harry Hall and met the Harry Hall team a few times now. Also, when we were at home through lockdown another ambassador top dressage rider and judge Sara-jane Lanning helped me with my test riding, by judging a dressage test video I did at home, providing marks as well as very detailed comments on what I could improve. We are also scheduled to meet up again soon! I’m not sure our paths would have crossed if it wasn’t for the Ambassador programme."

Harry Hall is a well established brand in the horsey world, with many equestrians' first riding hat or jodhpurs being Harry Hall. Do you remember your first Harry Hall item and do you still have it? "I have always been a big fan of Harry Hall and wore it for many years. Harry Hall jodhpurs and brown boots were my favourites when aged 8, but I don’t still have these as they will be a little small for me now!

My mum remembers Harry Hall from the 1960s and even still wears a winter fleece with the old Harry Hall logo which is now over 30 years old! Just shows how durable Harry Hall clothes are!"

Can you tell us which item is your favourite from our SS22 collection?

"I’ve always been a big fan of the Protechmasta range from its launch and love their new collection of colourful saddle pads and fly veils, especially the Protechmasta lux Rose saddle pad." We are loving seeing people tag us in their #LoveHarryHall social posts.

What do you love most about Harry Hall?

"It would have to be how fashionable but durable the clothes are for horse and rider. I always look so smart when wearing Harry Hall and so does Kate (my horse)! With the One club membership, you can purchase products for excellent prices too!"

Which Harry Hall and Masta products can’t you live without?

"That’s a difficult one because I love all of the products. In winter it would be the Protechmasta quarter rug, and in summer the coloured breeches or baselayers! Kate is currently wearing the Masta Fly sheet and matching mask and loves going out in her Masta royal blue fleece show rug!"

Can you tell us more about your goals for yourself and Kate for the rest of the year?

Isn’t It Special (stable name Kate), is 9-year-olds KWPN by SJ stallion Numero Uno. I have owned Kate for 2.5 years now and we have moved up through the grades both BSJ to 1.15m level and British Eventing Novice level.

We have now completed 4 Novices with 4 Double Clears and qualified for the British Eventing Novice Restricted Championships (Festival of British Eventing) at Gatcombe in August. This has been an aim of mine for many years, I’ve never even been to watch but always wanted to compete there.

We are also looking to have a successful Spring Campaign with the target of short 2* FEI in the summer and Autumn aim of Osberton 3 day (FEI 2* long format) in September! I haven’t completed at FEI since 2014 and this will be Kate’s first time at this level too, we are very excited!

What's one piece of advice you’d give to people thinking of applying?

"If you 'love' Harry Hall products as much as I do, from the clothes you and your horse wear to the benefits of Harry Hall One Club and love sharing your journey and showcasing Harry Hall, the ambassador programme could be for you!

Being an ambassador is a long term committed two-way partnership, it’s really enjoyable but hard work. You need to be 100% passionate about Harry Hall and their products including OneClub and be able to generate buzz and chatter in many ways! Be real and authentic about the products and finally be committed to support them via Social media, in your day to day lives, by word of mouth and blogs!"
